Two weeks ago, I launched a new section—something that brings me back, in a way, to how blogging used to feel.

I’m not one to romanticize the past or wish for things to “go back to how they were,” but I had been feeling for a while that I wasn’t really saying anything in my blog posts. Beyond describing an outfit, I wasn’t truly sharing what I was up to or how I was feeling.

That’s why I started “Chatty Tuesdays”—a space for more personal posts, reflections, and stories about how I got started with the blog and how it’s grown since then.

Two weeks ago, I shared a bit about what I’ve been working on and what’s coming next. Last week, I took a trip down memory lane and talked about how the blog actually began nearly eight years ago. And today, I want to pause to simply say: thank you.

Since Thanksgiving is coming up here in the U.S. on November 23rd—and it’s a holiday all about giving thanks—I thought it was the perfect time to reflect on everything I’m grateful for.

I think we don’t stop often enough to appreciate what we have: the people in our lives, the opportunities we’ve been given, even the things we worked hard to achieve. So much of it we take for granted, as if it couldn’t all change in an instant.

Personally, I feel like 2017 has been an incredible year—and even though it’s not quite time to wrap it up with a year-end reflection, it is the perfect moment to recognize all the good that’s around me.

This year brought me more of what I love: I’ve been able to truly work and enjoy what I do, and that alone is something I’m so grateful for.

I’ve also had the chance to travel to places that had been on my wishlist for so long—Greece, Amsterdam, Thailand. Another huge thing to be thankful for.

I’m healthy (HEALTHY!), and so are the people I love—and really, how could I not be grateful for that?

I know it might sound broad or cliché, but having good health, a job you love, people you care about close to you, and the chance to chase your dreams… those are the kind of things worth appreciating, even if they’re part of your everyday life and feel “normal.”

And beyond all that, I’m grateful for you.

Yes, YOU—reading this right now. I mean it!

Maintaining a connection with someone over so many years isn’t easy. Some of you have been following me for 8 years now, chatting with me here on the blog, on YouTube, or across social media.

And I don’t take that for granted—not for a second.

That’s why I keep doing monthly giveaways. Because I’m genuinely thankful that you’re still here—reading, following, watching, supporting, being part of this community.

So yes, I’m grateful for all of this.

And I encourage you to do the same. Whether it’s in a journal, a prayer, a voice note, or just a quick text to someone you love—say THANK YOU.

Thank you for what you have. For what you’ve been given. For what you’ve worked for. For the people around you.

I hope you enjoyed this new post and this chance to connect more personally, a little more relaxed, and a little more up-close.

Wishing you a beautiful day!

Besos,

Flor
